Ruth (she/her/hers) is a first-generation Associate Clinical Social Worker and a daughter of Mexican immigrants from Guanajuato, MX. She obtained her Master’s in Social Work from the University of Chicago and her B.A. in Psychology at the University of California, Santa Cruz.
Ruth specializes in working with BIPOC young adults and first/second-generation individuals, therapy first-timers and adolescents.
With experience in working in various community mental health settings, she understands the complexities involved in navigating identities in different spaces. Ruth provides a safe and collaborative environment for her clients while facilitating exploration of inner work.
Her rate for individual therapy is at $150/session and has limited sliding scale slots from $90-$145/session.
*Ruth has in-person appointments for individual therapy in Burbank and offers remote therapy to residents of CA.
