Hi! I'm Adriana.
I am a trauma therapist, mental health speaker and podcaster. I have presented at academic national, regional and state conferences speaking on topics of racial trauma, mental health and also speak for organizations, corporations universities and colleges across the nation. I am the founder of Latinx Therapy, a national, bilingual mental health hub of resources for the Latinx community. As of 2021, I launched a non-profit charity, the Alejandre Foundation, to help increase mental health equity for the Latinx community through therapy grants.
I gained my clinical experience at intense trauma sites, the Domestic Violence Center of Santa Clarita Valley and Strength United. I have experience and passion treating survivors of sexual assault, torture, child abuse and court-mandated individuals. I specialize working with first & second generation BIPOC with relationship issues, identity issues, depression, anxiety and any traumatic event that has occurred in their life.
I help people through their toughest moments in their lives, at a time when they may be afraid to change but know it is necessary to. I work to empower my clients to work towards reducing dependence of a person, negative feeling or a memory and gain autonomy, control of their lives and remember their own worth.
In a caring and collaborative environment, my clients work towards a healthier present and future. I enjoy seeing my clients become more resilient, empowered, become more joyful and have better relationships with people they can trust and feel supported by.

Even More Personally,
Clinically and personally, I take an anti-racist approach to my work with individuals that come to our offices. This is daily personal work.
I am a wife and mother to a little boy and my rescue dog, Shadow, a Miniature Pinscher/German Pinscher. I love to go on hikes, take naps and garden with my son. I enjoy watching Grey’s Anatomy and am very passionate about my podcast, Latinx Therapy. I am both Mexican and Guatemalan with K'iche' Maya roots.
